Story Time At the Zoo

On Saturdays in January, February & March this year, the Zoo will have a brand new activity for kids - Story Time at the Zoo! See your favorite storybook characters come to life at Story Time at the Zoo. This all new event gives your little ones the chance to meet Lyle Lyle Crocodile, Corduroy Bear, Stellaluna, Curious George, and Winnie the Pooh up close and in person! (yeah! people in mascot outfits!)
The zoo storyteller will read one of their wonderful and engaging books, plus a selection of other favorites. Story Time reading and greeting is at 9:30am for Zoo members and 11am for non-members, all in the Education Center, and free for everyone. Dates and character appearances are:
Saturday, January 15 - Lyle Lyle Crocodile
Saturday, January 29 - Corduroy Bear
Saturday, February 12 - Stellaluna
Saturday, February 26 - Curious George
Saturday, March 12 - Winnie the Pooh
If I actually had a kid, I would definitely be taking them to these events. Heck, I'm thinking about borrowing a kid for the afternoon just to go to the Curious George reading.
