Tim Ryan Sculpture

For weeks now (months maybe?) I have been driving by a little spot of construction just north of Broad Ripple on College. The construction was located on the south side of the bridge over White River. When I passed by a couple days ago, a gorgeous blue sculpture was standing there!
Unfortunately, I haven't found much information about it, just a small sign on the www.mybroadripple.com sign at the corner of 62nd and Collage: "Tim Ryan Sculpture Unveiling Wed 4 PM" and some pics for a 'Gateway Presentation'.
Anybody got more information about this sculpture?

4pm Wednesday, as in *this* wednesday, the 18th? I couldn't find that on the pages you linked to. I'm guessing that'll be at the sculpture (causing a bit of a traffic tie-up, eh)?

I think it was *last* Wednesday, the 11th... I drove by the sign this morning and the announcement was gone. Still wondering what the whole thing is all about.

ARTSPARK PROJECTS 2004-06

TIM RYAN, Indianapolis, Indiana
Implications of Three, 2005
Permanent installation
The Indianapolis Art Center contributed funding towards this “gateway” marker as part of its support of the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District. Implications of Three is a 20-ft. tall, triangular tower of concrete clad in handmade ceramic tiles glazed with varying shades of blue-green in a matte finish, some tiles with projecting elements to create an interesting surface texture. Ryan was commissioned through the Broad Ripple Public Art Committee and Indianapolis’ Cultural Districts Program to create this piece to mark the northern boundary of the district. The piece will be located immediately south of the College Avenue bridge over the White River, nearly adjacent to the corner of 67th St. and College Avenue and forming a visual introduction to the concepts embodied in ARTSPARK. Future planning for this intersection includes elements of the Graves design for ARTSPARK introduced to create a campus-like impression upon passers-by. Ryan is an Indianapolis-based ceramic artist and an instructor at the Art Center, working with youth from the Indiana School for the Blind. He was a 2001-02 recipient of a Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis and an instructor of ceramics at the Art Center from 1989-99.

The sculpture, titled Implication of Three, was just unveiled this week. It's a project that originated from the cultural districts program and was funded by the Indianapolis Cultural Development Commission.
Similar projects are finished or nearing completion in other cultural districts. Check them out too!
Convergence, a two-part gateway piece for the Canal and White River State Park district, created by Bernie Carreno, Luis Morales and David Thomas.
The Fountain Square gateway, which includes a pocket park and centerpiece sculpture by local neon artist Dick Lutin.
The Massachusetts Avenue district is doing three large painted signs, two by William Ray Denton and one by Blice Edwards.
The Wholesale District has added lighting displays on the facades of the Indiana Theatre Building and Symphony Center, home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's headquarters.
The sixth cultural district, Indiana Avenue, received its designation later than the rest and is working on a redevelopment plan.
